As the holiday period approaches we wanted to inform you that i-Protect will be taking a break over Christmas and we’d like to take the opportunity to thank our clients, insurers and advocates for their support throughout 2017.

Holiday Trading Hours

i-Protect will be closed with our last working day on 22nd of December and we will reopen on 2nd of January 2018 with limited staff. The majority of our team will be back on deck on 8th January 2018.

We ask that any foreseen insurance quotes, enquiries or claims are lodged prior to our closure date to ensure there are no delays.

Emergency Contacts

We know that your needs for insurance and in particular claims can be unpredictable, we will have emergency contacts available to ensure your insurance needs are managed through the holiday period. For emergencies during this time you can get in touch by:

  • Emailing us at info@i-protect.net.au this email account will be checked by our staff everyday over the holidays;
  • Phoning our switch 1300 724 436, you can leave a message for our team, our staff will be checking our voicemail everyday and get back to you as soon as they can.

Icare changing the state of play.

Insurance and Care (icare Workers Insurance, formerly WorkCover NSW) have announced that from early January 2017 icare will directly administer the policy and billing requirements under the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme.

There will be no change to claims management under the Scheme, or your current claims management contacts or services.
